- I have been making art since 1988. I began as a graphic designer and turned to design because I enjoyed the physical qualities of paint. In my paintings I document language. I enjoy making large scale work because I like the viewer to see the potential for the work to be an installation. I also enjoy reconfiguring familiar symbols that represent the sounds we hear everyday.
